Provincial government spokesperson said on Tuesday , the government is committed to hold free fair polls in the tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to reports of Baaghitv, Ajmal Wazir speaking to media on Tuesday reiterated the provincial government to hold free and fair polls in erstwhile FATA-present day tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He rebuffed the allegations of affecting the electoral process and termed them as canard.
It must be noted that following the Constitution (Ammendment) Bill, 2019 seats of provincial lawmakers from erstwhile FATA has been increased from 16 to 24 and federal lawmakers has been increased from 06 to 12. The provincial elections are due to be held on July 20 in tribal lawmakers.
