Government decides to deploy police on BRT

Following the incident of vandalizing the BRT stations, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) government has decided to deploy police across them to bring the situation under control.
According to the details, after the vandalism and violence against the security guards, KPK government has decided to deploy 250 police officials initially. SSP Operation Peshawar Mansoor Aman decided to deploy police on BRT.
Mansoor Aman said that police would also be deployed at BRT Central Command Station. It was decided to deploy police temporarily due to rush.
The people had taken to the streets on Thursday night in large numbers to celebrate the Independence Day. Moreover, many of them entered the BRT corridor and beat up guards for stopping them.
It may be recalled that 2 days ago, Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the BRT project. The BRT project is 27 km long and consists of 30 stations. The total length of the track is 27 km and initially 220 air-conditioned buses will run.
