Pandemic: Meera Jee In Trouble
Lahore, 20th April: Pakistan’s famous Film actress Meera is stuck in New York and has appealed to Prime Minister Imran Khan to help her in her repartition soon.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, film actress Meera shares a video message on social media appealing to PM Khan to help her in the time of crisis, as she is stuck in the coronavirus-hit city of the US.
New York, which has become the epicenter of COVID-19 in the United States, is at a record of reporting the most number of deaths, 13,869 so far.

Actress Meera has sent out a very emotional message stating, “It is 2:00 am in New York City and I am confined in my room and addressing you (PM Imran). I had come to New York with several artists including Humayun Saeed for the shooting of a film and show. My colleagues have gone back to Pakistan but I am stuck in New York,” Meera said.

The troubled actress says that she has run out of her reserves and it has become difficult for her to survive in a foreign city.
She reports that New York has become a graveyard with thousands of people dying daily. She has requested the PM to arrange for her arrival back to her country as she is scared to die in a foreign land.
“Dear prime minister, you have always supported artists. All countries are bringing back their citizens to their homelands. I request you to please make arrangements for my repatriation to Pakistan as I wish to die in my country,” she urged.

A month earlier, Meera had gone to America for the shooting of her film “Long Distance” along with her colleagues, the actors Hamayun Saeed, Saud and many more. All of the cast had returned back to Pakistan but only the actor Saud and Meera are left in the city.
Meera does not only have the lead role in ‘Long Distance‘ but she is involved in the upcoming movies’ production as well.
She informed that the film actor Saud is stuck in Dallas. She is quite scared of the current situation in New York as one of her Chinese cameraman got infected with the coronavirus and has lost his life.
According to Meera, she asked help from many diplomats from Pakistan, but nobody came out to rescue her at a time when she needed them.
Meera urges Imran Khan to look into her matter and arrange for her repartition quickly.
