Government Issues Permits to International Racers for Cholistan Rally

BAHAWALPUR, Nov 20 (APP): A meeting to review arrangements for 15th Cholsitan Desert Rally was held at Committee Room of Deputy Commissioner Office here today.

The meeting was presided over by Deputy Commissioner Bahawalpur Shozab Saeed. Deputy Commissioner told that the rally will start from 13 February 2020 and continue till 16 February 2020.

He told that state-of-the-art food street will be set up in Bahawalpur for the visiting tourists. He said that rally is a national level sports event for which all the concerned departments have to play their role efficiently.

The meeting was told that for the first time, international racers and navigators have been issued permits by Government of Pakistan to participate in 15th Cholistan Desert Rally under Carmet Agreement. Various sports and the cultural events will also be part of the rally.
