Government making Efforts to Attract Foreign Investment: Senate informed

Islamabad, July 22 (Online Int’l): The Senate was informed on Wednesday that the government is making efforts to attract foreign investment in the country. Responding during the question hour, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Ali Muhammad Khan said that the investors are being facilitated through a one window operation. He said Pakistan is a safe country for investment.

He said it is the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan to also attract foreign investment in the federal capital. The Master Plan of Islamabad is also being revised with a focus on high rise buildings and protection of green areas. Responding to a question, the Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs said the PC-1 for acquisition of land for Gwadar rail connectivity is under process. He said there is also a proposal to link Zhob with Jacobabad through the railway line.
