Government orders to seal some universities in Islamabad

The government of Pakistan has ordered to seal selective departments of universities in Islamabad in order to prevent community spread of the coronavirus.
According to the details, six confirmed coronavirus cases have been reported from different departments of the Air Universitym Islamabad. Coronavirus cases have been reported from the University’s Humanities Department.
Moreover, there is a high risk of the spread of coronavirus in the Information Technology (IT) department of the Fazia Medical College, Islamabad due to which the government has ordered to seal it as well.
District Health Officer (DHO) issues seal letter to relevant departments and medical colleges of the university. SOPs must be implemented in non-sealed departments, letter said.

The letter also instructed people who were in contact with the coronavirus affectees to stay in quarantine immediately. Earlier, 52 educational institutions were sealed after two or more cases each were reported.
