Government Paying Special Focus to Health Sector: DC

MUZAFFARGARH, Oct 11 (APP): Deputy Commissioner (DC) Amjad Shoaib Tareen said that the provincial government is paying special focus to the health sector in order to provide best medical facilities to masses.

During a surprise visit of the Rural Health Centre Sanawan here on Sunday, the Deputy Commissioner said that the provision of the best medical facilities to the masses is a top priority of the incumbent government and no negligence would be tolerated in this context.

He expressed satisfaction on the facilities at the rural health centre and urged the staff to bring more improvement in performance. Amjad Shoaib Tareen said that all types of medicines are available at the rural health centre and facility of X-Ray is also being provided to people. He said that the under-construction emergency ward and gynae ward would be completed in the next two months.

He said that he himself has asked Multan Electric Power Company (MEPCO) to install a separate transformer for the hospital to resolve the electricity related issues of the health centre.
