Government rebuffs ‘fake propaganda’ against Zulfi Bukhari

Focal Person To Prime Minister Imran Khan on Digital Media, Dr Arsalan Khalid, has blatantly rebuffed fake propaganda on social media against Zulfi Bukhari that he visited Tel Aviv in November.

According to the details, Arsalan Khalid denied the claims made by an Israeli account calling it “a propaganda fake news” through his official Twitter handle.

Furthermore, Khalid said that the former special aide to the Prime Minister, Sayed Zulfi Bukhari, had already clarified it last year that he was never sent to Israel by the Government of Pakistan.

It is to be noted that yesterday, an Israeli newspaper, Israel Hayom, has claimed that Zulfi Bukhari met a bunch of Israeli officials including Yossi Cohen on his visit to Tel Aviv back in November. The newspaper further claims that he was sent by Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Qamar Javed Bajwa, and conveyed a message from Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The Israeli newspaper further claimed that Bukhari who is based in the United Kingdom (UK), took advantage of his British passport to fly from London to Ben Gurion Airport in London. On landing, he was transferred to Tel Aviv, where he met with senior Israeli officials. Sources reveal that the main purpose of which was to explore the possibility of establishing diplomatic relations between the government of Pakistan and Israel.
