Lahore, 25th September: Medical students reject the government’s new medical commission bill.

According to a Baaghi TV report, the Ministry of National Health has shut down the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and barred employees from working.

After this, the old system of admissions to medical colleges will be restored. This will increase the difficulties for the students and at the same time increase the fees and other expenses for the students.

Middle Schools to be reopened from tomorrow

Following the dissolution of the PMDC, the medical colleges will now determine the medical admissions and fees themselves, whereas before this work was done under the PMDC and was conducted by the Ministry of National Health, first fees, tuition fees and hostel fees. And nine hundred and fifty thousand rupees were taken including other expenses.

Now the medical colleges will set the fee themselves which will go up to twelve and a half. This will also increase the problems of medical students. Merit will also be affected by this new system.

Pakistan Medical students have filed an online petition against the passage of the bill filed. So that the government withdraws the bill and they do not have to face the problems by the medical students.

It is clear that before this, the President of Pakistan Dr Muhammad Arif Alvi signed the Pakistan Medical Commission Bill, after the approval of the bill. The Ministry of National Health has closed the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and barred its employees from working.

The Ministry of National Health has requested the Ministry of Law and Justice to issue the Pakistan Medical Commission Bill. The Ministry of National Health has directed the President and Registrar of the PMDC Ad Hoc Council to close the council and suspend the employees.
