Governor Balochistan urges public to cooperate with govt to curb coronavirus

QUETTA, Mar 24 (APP):Governor Balochistan Amanullah Khan Yasinzai on Tuesday said collective efforts would be taken to immediately cope the spread of the coronavirus in order to ensure protection of public lives from the deadly virus instead of fearing it.

He expressed these views in his statement issued here, saying that we have to defeat it through adopting government’s preventive steps against the epidemic virus, saying that the coronavirus is becoming a sensitive issue and its risk is enhanced in the areas.

The Governor advised the people that they should be completely implemented on the precaution measures against the virus and would cooperate with provincial government to combat the challenge of the coronavirus.

He said government was taking all available resources to decrease difficulties problems of traders and daily wagers because business men and daily workers were facing a lot of problems due to closure of trade centers and shops in the respective areas of Balochistan including Quetta in wake of coronavirus threat.

“Therefore, it is important that rich people and welfare organizations would come forward to help needy people in critical situation in respective areas of province”, he said adding that there was needed to raise awareness against the pandemic virus among public, despite they maintain to beware of potential dangers rather than to frighten people.

The Governor Amanullah Khan expressed his confidence that scientists and experts around the world are active who will soon be able to find effective treatment for curbing of the spread of coronavirus.
