Governor opens four filtration plants of Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority

LAHORE:Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar inaugurated four filtration plants of Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority and Sarwar Foundation, laid the foundation stone of a school and inaugurated Sarwar Foundation hospital at Ghaziabad. Addressing the event and talking to the media, Governor Punjab said that 1500 projects of Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority will be completed by December 31, 2021, adding that Pakistan is moving forward in all sectors including the economy despite the most difficult circumstances due to Coronavirus Pandemic.
According to the details, Governor Punjab inaugurated two filtration plants of Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority at 10/11 L Chichawatni and Kameer Sahiwal and Sarwar Foundation’s filtration plants at Ghaziabad, Dhola Bala Sahiwal. Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar also inaugurated Sarwar Foundation Hospital whereas he laid the foundation stone of Sarwar Foundation School in Ghaziabad. On this occasion, Mian Waheed Asghar Dogar, Chairman Punjab Aab-e-Pak Authority Dr Shakeel Ahmed and others were also present. Moreover, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar also laid the foundation stone of the Ghaziabad Press Club.
Addressing the event and talking to the media, Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan was taking practical steps to purge the institutions of political interference and strengthen them. Pakistan is making progress in all sectors including the economy and the PTI government will complete its constitutional term and the government is utilising all its resources to fulfil the promises made to the public, he added.
Replying to media questions, Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the steps taken by the Federal and Punjab governments in the sectors of health and education in the country during the last three years were unprecedented and exemplary, adding that the opposition puts its political and personal interests ahead of national interests.
Governor Punjab said that the government has no threat from the opposition. The general elections in the country will be held in 2023 and the opposition should also understand that it cannot pressurize the government because the public’s support is with the government not with the opposition.
