Govt bans indoor dining, closes schools after emergence of Delta variant
Lahore, 14th July: After the emergence of the Delta variant of COVID-19 in the country, the government has decided to impose restrictions.
According to the report of Baaghi TV, a special meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Sindh Chief Minister after the increase in coronavirus cases.
During the meeting, the provincial government decided to close cinemas, indoor gyms and sports all over Sindh province.
COVID-19: Indian Delta Variant Cases Detected In Sindh
The decision has been made to shut down all amusement Parks, Water Parks, Sea View and Hawksbay from Friday. Restrictions will be tightened all over Sindh including Karachi.
It has also been decided to close government schools from grade 1 to 8 from Friday after the examinations of grade 9.
The Chief Minister was briefed in the meeting that the rate of new cases of Delta Variant in Sindh has reached 7.4%.

If the number of coronavirus cases increases from 5%, then it becomes a dangerous situation. At present 837 coronavirus patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals. So far, 356 cases of various types have appeared in Sindh till July 12, which include 92 cases of the UK variant, 162 cases of the South African variant and 29 cases of the Brazilian variant. Now 66 cases of the Indian Delta variant have also been detected in Sindh.
