Govt decides to extend aviation secretary’s tenure
Saturday, July 4th: According to the report of Baaghi TV, DG Civil Aviation Hassan Nasir Jamy has been extended as DG for 3 months.
In this regard, a notification has also been issued by the federal government. According to the notification, DG Civil Aviation Hassan Nasir Jamy has been extended for 3 months as DG.
Hassan Nasir Jamy is also the Secretary Civil Aviation. As DG Civil Aviation is not permanently posted, the government has asked him to work as DG CAA for 3 more months. Notification is issued by Maryam Kayani Deputy Secretary to Government of Pakistan.
It should be noted that the post of Permanent Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority has been vacant since 2017. Air Marshal Asim Suleiman was the last Director General of the Civil Aviation Authority. When the Secretary Aviation Division was appointed, he retained the post of DG.
Secretary Aviation Division Hassan Nasir Jamy has been appointed as the Acting DG of the Director General Civil Aviation Authority.
