SOPs issued for cattle markets in Punjab

Saturday, July 4th: According to the report of Baaghi TV, SOPs have been issued for cattle markets in Punjab with reference to Eid-ul-Adha.

According to the SOPs issued by the Punjab government, the cattle market will be at least two and a half kilometers away from the city. Two weeks before Eid, cattle markets will be allowed to be set up. No markets will be located in densely populated areas and such markets will be allowed at least two and a half kilometers from the city limits.

According to SOPs, none of the entrances and exits of cattle markets will be allowed to pass without masks. Similarly, people should avoid crowded places and avoid Eid. All SOPs related to mobility, especially social distance, will be applicable to all of them on Eid-ul-Adha and also on cattle markets.

The entry of elders and children in the markets has been completely banned and in this regard the police will enforce these restrictions, medical camps will also be set up in the cattle markets and all SOPs will be advertised in the local language everywhere. Similarly, the temperature of each individual will be checked at the entrances. District Government and Health Department teams will fulfill their shared responsibilities in this regard.

People who come to the cattle markets will be checked for temperature and no one with a fever will be allowed to enter the market.
