Govt finally listens to the protests of restaurant owners

Lahore, 22nd March, 8:00, PM: The voice raised by the restaurant owners and employees of the Pakistan Restaurant Unity Association has been finally heard.

According to the report of Baaghi TV, the demand for the immediate opening of outdoor dining in the restaurants has been accepted by the authorities.

As per the latest decision taken by the NCOC in today’s meeting, outdoor dining at the restaurants till 10 pm has been allowed.

Chairman Pakistan Restaurants Unity Association Amir Rafique Qureshi thanked the government for this and congratulated the restaurant owners and employees.

He said that the government should take immediate steps and play a role in the complete restoration of restaurants.

He added that it is not possible for a country with a weak economy like Pakistan to tolerate repeated lockdowns.

The Chairman said that they are ready to sit down with the government and work out a plan of action to implement the SOPs.

Restaurants will now be able to achieve economic stability after this decision.

It is to be noted that the restaurant owners have been protesting since last week against the government’s decision to shut down all the restaurants completely.
