Govt is empowering state institutions: Governor Punjab

LAHORE (19th Oct, 2019): Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar says low-cost housing units under the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme will be provided on the basis of merit.

Speaking to the media, he said the PTI led government will construct low-cost houses as per the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Governor Chaudhry Sarwar said the government will launch the housing scheme in nine more cities in coming days.

He said the government depoliticised and empowered state institutions.

The governor Punjab said that ensuring access to clean drinking water across the province is one of the our foremost priorities as all the deputy commissioners of Punjab have been asked to provide details of water filtration plants.
