Govt likely to outsource major airports of the country
In compliance with the Supreme Court orders, Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has directed authorities to ensure implementation of Supreme Court’s directive.
While chairing a meeting in Islamabad, PM Imran Khan discussed the overall political and economic situation in the country amid the pandemic.
Baaghi TV learnt that the federal government is likely to outsource the management of three major airports of the country. According to sources, the meeting reviewed the order of the Supreme Court regarding coronavirus, moreover, Parliamentary Affairs Adviser Babar Awan briefed the PM on the orders of the Supreme Court.

The Prime Minister said that the government would ensure full implementation of the orders of the Supreme Court. Sources said that the cabinet has also approved the installation of telemeters in order to ensure fair distribution of water among provinces.
Information Minister Shibli Faraz said that the prime minister has instructed the authorities to clear dues of media organizations before Eid-ul-Fitr. He said that cabinet approved names of Healthcare Commission Board members as well.
Prime Minister Imran Khan is focusing on the agriculture sector as it could lift the economy of the country said the Information Minister.

In a media briefing after the cabinet meeting, Information Minister Shibli Faraz said that the issue of outsourcing of major airports was also considered in the meeting. A date of June 30 has been fixed for the legal framework on the issue of airports.
It must be noted that the Supreme Court on Monday ordered the opening of shopping malls across the country.
