Govt officials’ performance to depend on resolution of public complaints: PM Khan
July 9, 2021: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday decided to make conditional reports to address public grievances regarding the performance of government officials. According to a letter issued to the Establishment Division at his direction, the annual confidential Report (ACR) will assign a rank and number to the performance of government officials according to how many public complaints they have resolved.
“Resolving people’s grievances should be the first responsibility of any government official,” the letter said. “Prompt resolution of grievances and public satisfaction is the best measure of a government official’s performance,” it added.
