Govt provides whooping increase in salaries, pensions
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar said that the minimum wage was proposed at Rs32,000 while the wages of government employees from Grades 1-16 and Grades 17-22 were to be increased by 35pc and 30pc, respectively.
This is a much-needed salary increase for government employees while a hike in pensions also provides huge relief amid the skyrocketed inflation in the country.
