PTI vote bank declines in Pakistan: claims Kh Asif | Baaghi TV

Minister for Defense Khawaja Muhammad Asif says the vote bank of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaaf has declined after dispersing its party members.

Talking to a private news channel he said the PTI has become lost its popularity after May 9 incidents.

Hinting at seat adjustment with other like-minded parties in general elections, he said PML-N’s vote bank is infected.

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif says the coalition government has no plan to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf but action will be taken against violators of the law.

Talking to a private television channel, he said the government will take every step against those who are found involved in provocative activities on May 9.

Khawaja Asif said it is the government’s duty to expose the corruption and corrupt practices committed by the previous regime of Imran Khan-led PTI.

To a question about the Army Act being applied against the violators of the law, he said the government has not decided yet which law would be suitable for punishing the lawbreakers.

The Defense Minister regretted that Imran Khan did not condemn the attacks on national institutions on May 9.
