Advisor on Political and Public Affairs Rana Sanaullah has said the government is still ready for dialogue with the opposition parties to take the country forward.
Responding to points raised by Senator Mishal Azam in the Senate today, he pointed to the repeated offers made by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for talks with the opposition, regretting that the PTI has always rejected the path of negotiations.
Rana Sanullah said PTI founding Chairman is allowed meetings as per the jail manual.
Meanwhile, the Senate passed the “The National Agri-trade and Food Safety Authority Bill, 2025.”
The bill, moved by Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar, is aimed at establishing the National Agri-trade and Food Safety Authority.
The House has now been prorogued.
