LAHORE, JUNE 5th: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) has reportedly given the students the option of not appearing in the exams. The exams will start from June 22 under iCap.
According to the details, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan has issued instructions to the students that they will be authorized to participate in the examinations or not. According to iCap, in case of non-examination, the fees of registered students will be refunded.
CFAP and MSA exams under iCap will start from June 22. AFC exams will begin on June 29. ICap made the examinations subject to government approval.
The iCap administration says the exams will be postponed if permission is not obtained from the government. ICap says it will implement WHO guidelines for conducting exams.
On the other hand, a few days ago, the University Health Sciences had started a series of examinations which were once again postponed. The Department of Specialized Health stopped the UHS from taking the examinations.
Yesterday, UHS conducted MBBS Final Medicine Supplementary Examinations keeping in view the SOPs. 275 out of 291 candidates from 37 Medical Colleges of Punjab and Azad Kashmir participated in the examinations. VCHS Professor Javed Akram visited the examination center and made arrangements with the candidates. Provincial Minister for Housing Mian Mahmood Al-Rasheed also visited the examination center.
VC Prof. Javed Akram said that the theoretical step has been taken in view of the importance of examinations. Conducting examinations while implementing precautionary measures is certainly a beacon for other educational institutions.
