Great news on Eid, increase in the Eid-ul-Adha holidays

Lahore: According to reports, even on the second day of Eid-ul-Adha, the children of Islam are busy in performing the Sunnah of Ibrahimi.
Meetings with relatives and the distribution of sacrificial meat are also taking place. The administration and municipal staff are engaged in a clean-up operation to keep the cities clean and tidy.
On the happy occasion of Eid, great good news came to the people of Sindh. The Sindh government has extended the Eid holidays by one day. A notification has also been issued in this regard.
According to the notification, Eid-ul-Adha holidays will now be till August 3 instead of August 2. All public and private institutions will open in Sindh on Tuesday. Earlier, the Eid holidays were from July 31 to August 2. The Sindh government had given 6 holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to sources, with the approval of Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah and the directive of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto, the Eid holidays have been extended by one day till August 3.
Yesterday, Eid gatherings were held at mosques, Eid venues and open spaces in all cities, towns and villages across the country. In their Eid sermons, the scholars highlighted the importance of the philosophy of the great sacrifice offered by Abraham and Ishmael.
Special prayers were offered at the Eid gatherings for the development and prosperity of the country and liberation from Corona. Strict security arrangements were made on this occasion.
It is to be noted that Eid-ul-Adha holiday in Punjab is till August 2. All public and private institutions will be open on Monday. However, due to Corona Smart Lockdown, markets, bazaars, cinemas, wedding halls and parks will remain closed till Wednesday.
