#HappyBirthdaySRK: Virtual birthday celebrations

Mumbai, 2nd November: King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan turns 55 today. Fans of King Khan from all over the world are sending him congratulatory messages and best wishes.

Baaghi TV: Superstar Shahrukh Khan, who ruled over millions of hearts, started his career from the TV industry in 1980 and made his film debut in 1992 with the movie ‘Deewana’.

#HappyBirthdaySRK has become a top trend on Twitter in Pakistan today. Netizens are wishing their favourite star on social media.

Journalist Haroon Rashid also shared a photo taken with King Khan and wished the actor a happy birthday.

According to Indian media, Shahrukh Khan is currently in the UAE with his family. In a question and answer session on Twitter, he asked his fans, due to the pandemic not to gather outside his house in India like every year. He said, “This time love from a little distance, friend.”

It may be noted that thousands of fans gather around his home ‘Mannat’ every year on his birthday, to catch a glimpse of their favourite star.

 

According to the Times of India, a member of Shahrukh Khan’s fan club has said that fans will cut cakes at their homes and they can be a part of the celebrations through live streaming.

The report added that after last night’s event, there will be a virtual birthday party on Monday (November 2) at 11 am with selfie booths, games, SRK quizzes, live chat between fans and a few performances. 

In addition, some charitable activities such as 5555 mask kits with 5555 masks and sanitizers, distribution of 5555 meals to the needy, orphanages and old age homes are also planned.

According to a member of his fan club, Shah Rukh and his team are aware of the plan and they hope that the actor will be part of the virtual party for a while. He said that 5,000 fans from all over the world would participate in the virtual celebrations of Shahrukh Khan’s birthday.

Fans usually visit the Maratha Temple on November 1 every year to see his film ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le  Jayenge’ on November 1, but cinemas in India are closed due to COVID-19 and an online screening of the film was planned on the same day. ۔

King Khan will soon be seen in action in his new film ‘Pathan’, which also stars John Abraham and Deepika Padukone.
