Haris Sohail dropped from the series against England.

Cardiff, July 8, 2021: Middle-order batsman Harris Sohail has been ruled out of the series against England due to a hamstring injury. An MRI scan on Wednesday revealed that the batsman was suffering from grade three muscle tear. He suffered the injury during a practice session in Derby last week.

The Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) medical panel has recommended a four-week rehab program to Harris Sohail, after the completion of which a review of the injury will be made.

Haris Sohail, who was selected in the national squad for the one-day international series against England, will now return home and start his rehab program at the National High Performance Center, Lahore.

The middle-order batsman says he was looking forward to making his spot in the national cricket team permanent after his impressive performance in the one-day international series against England. Will start their rehab program so that I can prepare myself for the domestic season 22-2021, he stated.

The three-match ODI and three-match Twenty20 International series between Pakistan and England starts in Cardiff on July 8. The national squad will leave for the West Indies on July 21 to play in five Twenty20 Internationals and two test matches.
