18th September 2020: Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will feature in the first-ever televised version of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People list, a new promo has revealed.
Though the complete list will be aired on Tuesday, 22nd September, TIME has revealed a few people who will surely be part of the list to keep viewers intrigued.
Harry and Meghan Markle, former Duke of Duchess of Sussex will be accompanied by many other famous personalities such as Trevor Noah, Sandra Oh, Kumail Nanjiani, and John Legend on the Televised show on 22nd September.
This also marks the first time that TIME has ever had a show air on TV.
The promo also revealed that faces known for being pioneers, and artists. Icons like Roger Federer and Serena Williams will also be part of the long-awaited list.
The show will also have performances by popular singers like Hasley and Weekend as well.
TIME studios president Ian Orefice said the 2020 broadcast celebration will bring an alternative and ‘brand-new experience’ to the ranking.
‘In a year in which we are unfortunately unable to convene the TIME100 community together in person, we are excited to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of the members of this year’s list with a brand-new experience on ABC that will allow more people to participate than ever before,’ Orefice said in a statement.
The TIME 100 will air on channel ABC on Tuesday.
The couple left England at the start of the year and have moved to their new house in Los Angeles for $14.7 million with their baby Archie.
