Hashish Apprehended from Constable, Islamabad Police

Peshawar (3rd July, 2019): Twenty kg worth of hashish allegedly recovered from Islamabad police personnel. 

According to Baaghi TV’s reports, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Department of Excise and Taxation has reportedly recovered nearly 20 kg of hashish from Islamabad police officials.

Reports confirm that Provincial Excise Intelligence during a regular performance check on Monday, took an alleged smuggler into custody for carrying approximately 20 kg of hashish. Provincial In-charge of Excise Intelligence, Syed Naveed Jamal said that his team had received information regarding the apparent smugglers movements. In conversation with media, he stated that upon searching a car, they recovered twenty kilograms of hashish. He continued to say that the smuggler was identified as constable of Islamabad police, named Yaseen Ali.

Moreover, Syed Naveed Jamal said:

“We have registered an FIR against the alleged smuggler under 9-C of  the law, and handed over hashish and smuggler to Chamkani Police station  where he would be interrogated for further investigation”.
