Lahore, 28th February: Health officials in Punjab seem reluctant to get COVID-19 vaccination.

Baaghi TV: According to reports, Punjab has received a third consignment of 70,000 corona vaccine doses on Sunday.

According to sources, the health professionals in Punjab appear reluctant to get vaccinated against coronavirus as only 35 pc of the staff have been vaccinated despite a period of 23 days.

Sources said, “Only 45,000 doses out of total doses of 2,75000 have been consumed so far. A large number of health professionals are reluctant to get vaccinated against the deadly virus till the situation regarding the side effects becomes clear.”
Reports also tell that out of 6,000 health professionals of the Mayo Hospital, only 740 were vaccinated.
Meanwhile, the Punjab secretary of health has issued orders for health professionals to get themselves vaccinated.

The administration of the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (Pims) has decided to take action against health workers who refuse to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

The hospital administration has directed all healthcare professionals to register themselves for vaccination to get the jab at the earliest. It warned that those who refuse to take the vaccine will have to face action.
