Hindu pilgrims from India enter Pakistan through Wagah

Dec 5, 2021: A total of 136 Hindu pilgrims from India arrived in Pakistan via Wagah Border Crossing to attend the 313th Birthday celebrations of Sant Shadaram Sahab.

Faraz Abbas, Deputy Secretary General, Abandoned Waqf Property Board (ETPB) gave a hearty welcome to the visitors at the border on behalf of the ETPB Chairman. Expressing his sentiments on his arrival in Pakistan, Group Leader Yudhisthira Lal expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the government, ETPB and other concerned departments for Hindu pilgrims.

He said that all the Hindu pilgrims were very happy with the visit and he was grateful to the government of Pakistan for making comprehensive arrangements for the convenience of the Hindu pilgrims.

Later, the pilgrims left for Shadani Darbar in Mirpur in four buses under tight security. The main ceremony will be held on December 7 and 8 at Shadani Darbar.
