Following her victory, Sarah shared it on her official Twitter account: “We have done, we have won the general election. Thank you thank you thank you.”
As Delaware continues to face the Covid crisis, it’s time to get to work to invest in the policies that will make a difference for working families.

Earlier, Sarah had shared, “I hope tonight shows an LGBTQ kid that our democracy is big enough for them, too.”
Also in 2016, Sarah MC Bride made history as the first eunuch to address a major party convention in the United States, where she defeated political rival Steven Washington.
Alfonso David, president of the Human Rights Campaign, praised Sarah McBride’s victory in a statement Tuesday night.
“Tonight, Sarah made history not only for herself but for our entire community,” David said. “As a representative and a lawyer, she is a voice for the underprivileged. Anyone can achieve their dream, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation.”
It should be noted that President Trump or Joe Biden needs 270 out of 538 electoral votes to take over the presidency.
