Tuesday, June 9th: According to the Baaghi TV report, the staff in government hospitals have shown extreme carelessness and bigotry. Patients are forced to buy their own medicines and other medical supplies from the market, as well as dialysis patients at the district headquarters in Okara, who are forced to pay for their own supplies from the market.

A viral video on social media shows a kidney patient being told by government staff and doctors that he would have dialysis if he bought the goods from the market and was told that they did not have the equipment. They suffer from severe illness and are forced to buy these items from the market.

According to the sources, this has been going on for a long time and a complaint has been lodged before but no one has taken action on it.

Authorities should take stern notice of this abusive and criminal act by the higher and concerned quarters and those involved in this act should be punished according to the law.
