Hospitals out of oxygen supply, patients at risk

During the third wave of COVID-19, hospitals across India have expressed concern regarding a lack of oxygen supply. Following which 25 patients have been lost while others are considered to be at risk.

According to reports, oxygen cylinders are in short supply in India as hospitals are filling up with corona patients. Ganga Ram hospital in Delhi has confirmed that 25 patients have died due to a lack of oxygen while 60 others are at risk.

Many hospitals in Delhi have been facing oxygen crisis for several days. The Delhi government has raised hopes through the central government and the central government has also increased the quota for Delhi, but the situation is deteriorating due to the increase in the number of corona patients as oxygen supply also takes time, some Delhi hospitals said. Some hospitals in Delhi have also approached the High Court seeking oxygen supply.
