How could Saba Qamar perform dance in a Holy mosque?
Lahore, 9th August: Recently a disgraceful act by the famous artists of Pakistan showbiz industry was reported.
According to reports of Baaghi TV, Pakistani actress Saba Qamar shot a music video with the famous singer Bilal Saeed in a famous mosque in Lahore.
The incident sparked a debate among the public after the pictures and videos of the following circulated on social media.
Saba Qamar adds another feather to her cap
The controversy started when people pointed out how can music and dance be shot in a holy mosque?
It was reported that the new music video of the song ‘Qubool’ by Bilal Saeed and Saba Qamar was being picturized at the famous Wazir Khan Masjid in Lahore.
Saba Qamar’s Qubool Hai finally revealed
A few days back, Baaghi TV proudly reported about the release of the song ‘Qubool’ by the much-talented singer Bilal Saeed, where Saba Qamar was performing in the video. This music video also marks the actress’s first-ever directorial debut in the industry.

But no one knew where the video will take place before yesterday when the images of the couple dancing in the mosque started circulating. People voiced their anger on social media and maligned the couple to carry out the disrespectful act in a mosque.
Actress Mishi Khan pointed out if both Saba Qamar and Bilal Saeed were to get married in real life in the Mosque then people would have really felt happy. However, the music and song performed in a holy place should be condemned.

It is to be noted that this is the same mosque where last year British Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton visited and being foreigners and Non-Muslims listened to the recitation of the Quranic verses in the Mosque.
On the contrary, our very own stars go to the same mosque and perform dance and music. Isn’t it ironic how Muslims trample their own religious place? How can we raise fingers on others if we ourselves don’t respect our Mosques?

However, it was informed by the sources that permission for the mosque was issued by the Zonal Administrator Endowment Lahore Zone under the title of Permission for Recording at Jamia Masjid Wazir Khan Lahore in return for a fee of Rs. 30,000.
Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony Sahibzada Noor ul Haq Qadri on Saturday has vowed to take strict action against the persons involved in the desecration of holy Mosque in Lahore. He said thorough investigations of the picturization of a song and dance in the mosque would be conducted to punish the responsible.
Bilal Saeed’s new song ‘Qubool’ featuring Saba Qamar is all set to release on the 11th of August.
