How is our enemy spreading chaos in Pakistan?
Lahore, 27th October: Prime Minister Imran Khan expresses concern on what can the enemy do to spread instability in the country.
Baaghi TV: Prime Minister Imran Khan has revealed that India will use Afghanistan to spread chaos and instability in Pakistan.
Addressing the Pak-Afghan Trade and Investment Forum, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that we have made great efforts for friendship with India. But India is ideologically against Pakistan so our efforts have not been fruitful.
There is no precedent for the mistreatment of Muslims in India. Relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan have a long history. The region has had relations with Afghanistan for centuries. Afghanistan was part of the Mughal Empire.
Present Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were also part of the Durrani Empire of Afghanistan. For centuries, trade caravans travelled from the tribal areas and Afghanistan to Calcutta. Until the Afghan jihad began, trade with India continued from Central Asia and Afghanistan. This is our history.
“Unfortunately, Afghanistan has been in turmoil for 40 years, which has caused a lot of damage not only to Afghanistan but also to Pakistan,” he said.
“For the last 18 years, the war in the name of terrorism has caused a lot of damage to Pakistan as well as Afghanistan and created differences and suspicions, but we must not be stuck in the past but look to the future. We have to learn from the past and move on. Pakistan has learned from the past. Afghanistan’s history testifies that no one can influence Afghanistan from outside. Afghans make their own decisions and do not influence the outside world. It is up to the Afghan people to choose a government they like. Whatever the Afghan government, Pakistan will maintain strong ties with it,” PM Khan said.
He said that the tribal areas of Pakistan have also been severely affected by the unrest in Afghanistan and trade in the tribal areas of Pakistan can only bring prosperity. Our government is taking all possible steps to increase its wealth. This will require the promotion of trade and industry and the upliftment of the business community. Afghanistan is our natural partner. We want to develop all kinds of relations with Afghanistan, including trade.
Peace in Afghanistan is in the interest of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Pakistan in particular. No other country is working as hard for peace in Afghanistan as Pakistan is doing because our future depends on trade with Afghanistan and Central Asia.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan played an important role in the dialogue between the United States and the Taliban and the Afghan government. We are saddened by the daily martyrdoms in Afghanistan and our government, army and intelligence agencies are working for the end of violence and peace in Afghanistan.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister directed that more steps be taken to control inflation. “We will get to the bottom of the issue of inflation and hoarding,” he said.
