Huawei holds latest services back from Canada

Huawei restrains Canada from using the latest services post the detention of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Meng Wanzhou.

According to the reports received, the phone company has ceased the activity of all 5G Research Centers in Canada. Consequently, this action caused unemployment, leaving at least 4,500 Canadians without jobs. Not only did the company influenced the revenue generation of Canada, but Huawei also claimed their insurance money. The sources have reported the sum to be one billion US Dollars.

5G service infrastructure set up by the company has also been demolished, due to which the country has to move back towards the older, much outdated and slower technology of 4G. Apart from this, Huawei has legal protections in various mobile companies.

As a result to which, many of the phone brands will have trouble updating software and installations of the latest versions. These technical glitches will remain and recur in the phones of Nokia and Sony Ericsson once Huawei completely pulls back its services. On the account of this, it is feared they will be unable to operate with the 5G services, which will render them useless to many.

It is predicted that the next target of Huawei will be the United States, since the tussle between them has been going on for a while.

It should be remembered, the CFO of Huawei, or more socially recognized as the “Princess of Huawei”, was detained in December of 2018. The accused was arrested on the basis of rumors that she had been making profit by ignoring the sanctions imposed on Iran by the US. Ex-President United States, Donald Trump, also claimed:

“Wanzhou [Meng] is stealing data from the western technological companies.”

As a result of the arrest of CFO Huawei, China detained two Canadians, who have now been released.
