I am doing well: Bappi Lahiri on rumours regarding health

Bollywood’s renowned 68-year-old musician Bappi Lahiri was rumored to currently be suffering from health problems. He suffered from coronavirus this year and is currently in a wheelchair.

According to details, musician and singer Bappi Lahiri has been suffering from poor health and voice problems. It has been said that he has also installed a lift in his house in Mumbai to make it easier to walk.

There were reports that Bappi Lahiri was unwell and could not even speak. The news had sparked health concerns among his fans but now the renowned musician himself has addressed them. “Sad to learn that some media reports published false news about my health,” he said in a message on his official Instagram account.

It is to be noted that the singer did catch the coronavirus and was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy hospital in April this year. However, he recovered after a few days.

He is best known for his songs in several late 1970s-980s films such as Chalte Chalte, Disco Dancer, and Sharaabi, among others.
