I will not do this after taking oath, says Chaudhry Nisar

Lahore, 23rd May: I will not do this after taking an oath, Chaudhry Nisar has clarified.

Baaghi TV: PML-N leader Chaudhry Nisar Ahmed has said that taking my oath will not change my position or thinking. Nisar said that he would not make any concessions from the assembly.

Chaudhry Nisar has announced to take an oath as a member of the Punjab Assembly on Monday. He said that he would not take any benefits including salary, TADA, the main purpose of taking the oath is to control the political situation and movements in the constituency.

It would be a political mistake to boycott the elections and leave the field open.

Meanwhile, it is being said that the Punjab government has prepared to stop the swearing-in of Chaudhry Nisar on technical grounds. Punjab Government will try to stop the oath by justifying.

Sources close to Law Minister Farogh Naseem said that unless the ordinance is formally implemented, there is no impediment to taking the oath. The ordinance cannot come during the National Assembly and Senate sessions.

According to sources, in the current political situation, an attempt is being made to link the politics of Usman Buzdar and Jahangir Tareen with the oath.

Chaudhry Nisar can make all political aspects public before taking the oath and he does not want to waste the seat won by his constituency.

The government wants to elect Shaukat Tareen as senator instead of Ishaq Dar through an ordinance.
