In the 34th ODI of ICC World Cup 2019, India defeated West Indies by 125 runs at Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

According to reports of Baaghitv, India won the toss and choose to bat first. India scored 268 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their 50 overs. Indian skipper Virat Kohli top scored for India. He scored 72 runs of 82 deliveries. MS Dhoni scored unbeaten 56 runs. West Indian bowler Kemar Roach picked up 3 wickets while skipper Jason Holder and Sheldon Cottrell shared 2 wickets each.

Chasing a target of 269, West Indies were bowled out on 143 runs in 34.2 overs. Sunil Ambris top scored for West Indies. He scored 31 runs. Six West-Indian batsmen were unable to cross the double figure. Mohammed Shami picked up 4 wickets. Yuzvendra Chahal picked up 2 wickets.

Virat Kohli was awarded man of the match award for his brilliant knock of 72 runs. After this victory, India qualified for semi-final of ICC World Cup 2019.
