On September 27, the Pakistan Cricket team, under the leadership of captain Babar Azam, finally reached Hyderabad in preparation for the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 in India. The team’s arrival came a day after they were granted visas for the tournament.
This marks the first visit of Pakistan’s men’s cricket team to India in seven years, and it coincides with India hosting the ICC World Cup 2023. The highly anticipated tournament is scheduled to kick off on October 5 and will run until November 19.
As reported by Hindustan Times, Babar Azam and the rest of the squad landed at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport after enduring a lengthy nine-hour layover in Dubai. They began their journey from Lahore early in the morning and arrived in Hyderabad late at night.
