In the 40th ODI of ICC World Cup 2019, Bangladesh is set to chase 315 runs in their 50 overs, to keep their chance of making into semis alive, at Edgbaston.

According to reports of Baaghitv, India won the toss and elected to bat first. India scored 314 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in their 50 overs. Indian openers build a strong partnership of 180 runs but the middle order and low order could not continue with strong base provided by openers. KL Rahul scored 77 runs and Rohit Sharma scored 104 runs of 92 deliveries. Indian skipper Virat Kohli scored 26 runs and MS Dhoni scored 35 runs.

Mustafizur Rehman picked up 5 wickets for Bangladesh by giving 59 runs in his 10 overs. Shakib Al Hassan, Rubel Hossain and Soumya Sarkar picked up a wicket each.
