On Friday, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flew another 350 people from Kabul to Islamabad as part of a massive evacuation effort to bring them back to Afghanistan after the Taliban took over.

The PIA, in collaboration with the Pakistani embassy and local authorities, carried about 250 staff members from the World Bank and the IMF. Others included foreign and local Afghans affiliated with international organizations.

At the behest of the Prime Minister, Pakistan is facilitating the departure of diplomatic staff and other foreigners in Kabul. The government is also working to assist international journalists in the evacuation process.
