May 17, 2021: The 33rd session of the National Assembly will be held tomorrow at 4 pm in the Parliament House. Members of the National Assembly have been requested not to bring guests with them. A shuttle service will be run from Parliament Lodges to attend the meeting of the members. Parliamentary reporters from the media will be able to attend the meeting through pre-issued security passes.
Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that the Journalist Protection Bill will be introduced in the National Assembly today (Monday). Tweeting on social networking site Twitter, Fawad Chaudhry said that this is a great achievement for working journalists. It has been two and a half years since the Journalist Protection Bill but now it is becoming law. This is a huge achievement those who constantly strove for this bill.
