Islamabad, July 08 (Online Int’l): There has been an improvement in the number of recoveries from COVID-19 in Pakistan with the figure now reaching 140, 965.
2980 new cases surfaced during the last twenty four hours taking the tally to 237, 489.
These include 83,559 in Punjab, 97,626 in Sindh, 28681 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 10919 in Balochistan, 13650 in Islamabad, 1595 in Gilgit-Baltistan and 1419 in Azad Kashmir.
The death toll from the virus has reached 4922 with 83 more deaths reported over the last twenty-four hours. 21,951 corona tests were carried out during this period.
