In 70 years, 50,000 people have gone missing as they entered Pakistan.

“About 4,000 Pakistanis seeking to go to Middle Eastern countries are stranded on the Torkham border. I will talk to the NCOC and other relevant authorities to facilitate their return,” Federal Minister of Home Affairs Sheikh Rashid Ahmed announced.

He also said that online visa service has been launched.

According to reports, the Interior Minister further said that the Interior Ministry has decided to register all foreigners in Pakistan, and steps will also be taken to repatriate Pakistanis stranded at the Torkham border.

“It has been decided that all foreigners in the country will be registered. Several people with fake Afghan visas have also been arrested. In 70 years, 40,000 to 50,000 people have entered Pakistan and gone missing. There is no record of that but now every foreigner will be registered,” he said.
