In heartfelt notes, celebs express how Asma Nabeel impacted each one of them

Lahore, 2nd July: Celebrities across the country mourned the loss of Pakistan’s renowned screenwriter Asma Nabeel who passed away today after battling cancer disease.
Baaghi TV reported earlier in the day that Asma Nabeel’s family confirmed she passed away on Thursday in Karachi after suffering from cancer disease.
Asma Nabeel had written many prominent drama serials including Khaani, Damsa, Baandi and Khuda Mera Bhi Hai.
After the tragic news broke out, prominent stars expressed condolences on Asma’s death.
Celebrities have posted about the impact Asma Nabeel and her writing had on those who had the opportunity to work with her.
Versatile actor and TV host Yasir Hussain highlighted the award he won for his role in the Asma Nabeel’s drama ‘Baandi.’
Costume designer and celebrity stylist Rao Ali Khan recalled that Asma Nabeel was the first one to believe in his talent and support his career. He wrote, “I owe her a big time.”
Similarly, journalist Shahzaib Khan remembered the screenwriter for the impact she had on his career and guided him a lot about media production, poetry and script voice-over.

Actress Mansha Pasha expressed she was proud to have worked in a serial written by Asma Nabeel.
Renowned designer Ali Xeeshan took to Twitter to mourn the loss. It may be remembered that Asma Nabeel had recently taken part in his campaign to highlight the prevalence of breast cancer in Pakistan. The screenwriter was herself a breast cancer survivor and had been vocally advocating the cause.

Former actress Aisha Malik who starred in Asma Nabeel’s play ‘Khuda Mera Bhi Hai’ expressed grief over the loss of ‘a true friend, an outstanding writer and a true warrior.’
Young actor Bilal Abbas Khan posted that Asma Nabeel was one of the strongest women he had the honor of meeting. He wrote, “Her conviction and passion when I met her showed that she is indeed a real fighter.”
Earlier, actors Adnan Siddiqui, Aijaz Aslam, Feroze Khan and Samina Peerzada had also posted heartfelt messages on the death of a true warrior.
