As the second wave of corona continues in Pakistan, corona patients and deaths continue to rise, according to a report by Baaghi TV.

According to the NCOC, 39 more deaths from Corona and 1,245 new cases reported in Pakistan. The total number of deaths from corona in Pakistan reached 12,527. However, the total number of affected people has reached 568,506. In the country, 531,840 people have recovered from Corona and the number of patients undergoing treatment is 24,139.
Corona has claimed the lives of 5,166 people in Punjab, 4,267 in Sindh, 2,020 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, 488 in Islamabad, 102 in Gilgit-Baltistan, 199 in Balochistan and 285 in Azad Kashmir.

The number of corona cases in Islamabad is 43,145, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 70,493, in Sindh 255,039, in Punjab 166,242, in Balochistan 18,967, in Azad Kashmir 9,673 and 4,947 people in Gilgit-Baltistan have been infected with Corona. During the second wave of Corona, positive cases dropped significantly to 3.9 percent. The situation is back to pre-November 10 levels.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, the corona positive case rate in Karachi is 10.68%. The rate of positive cases in Islamabad is 1.18%, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 5.25%, in Punjab 5.97% and in Sindh 10.23%.
Corona vaccination is underway in Pakistan and in the first phase, corona vaccine is being given to health workers. However, people over the age of 63 have also been vaccinated.
