According to a report by Baaghi TV, a lockdown has been imposed in India due to the corona virus. Public transport is also closed during the lockdown, which has seen an increase in sales of second-hand vehicles and cars.

The Corona virus has affected all businesses, however, the business of buying and selling small cars and especially used cars has increased. In order to avoid the novel virus in lockdown, citizens in India have decided to take personal vehicles instead of traveling on public transport, considering their vehicle to be a safer choice.

According to the report, citizens say that even after a lockdown in public transport, there is a risk of Coronavirus, so it is important to buy your own car and travel in it. In this regard, the citizens have started buying small vehicles such as old cars, due to which the prices of old cars have been increased.

Nandan Kumar, a resident of Panja Gutta in the Indian state of Hyderabad, says he called a car dealer to get information about second-hand vehicles, and he would buy a car in a day or two. “I used to travel in public transport but now I have decided to buy a second hand car so that my family can be safe,” he said. He added that they will not use public transport until the virus is eradicated.

According to Director Adarsha Group Amrachari, the demand for second hand vehicles has increased more than new vehicles these days. Rajendra, an IT employee who has always preferred Metro, has now bought his own car. “I’ve always preferred public transport because it would reduce the pressure, but now I’ve changed my mind because of the epidemic, because I’m realizing that staying healthy is very important and if my self-esteem,” he added, “If you have a car, you are less likely to be infected with the virus.”
