According to reports, the Indian government has approved visas for the Pakistani team for the T20 World Cup. The Indian government will also issue visas to journalists to cover the World Cup.
The Indian Cricket Board has informed the Apex Council of the details. According to sources, the decision of the arrival of cricket fans in India will be taken later.
It may be recalled that Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani had said that if New Delhi did not assure Pakistani players about visas and security arrangements, the International Cricket Council (ICC) would not allow the T20 World Cup. We will demand relocation other than India.
The Indian Cricket Board (ICB) has informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) in writing about Pakistan’s concerns over India’s participation in the T20 World Cup in the wake of Pakistan’s outcry, saying Pakistan’s issues would be resolved amicably.
