India involved in Lahore blast: National Security Advisor

Baaghi TV: Moeed Yousuf, National Security Adviser to Prime Minister Imran Khan, has said that the recent bomb blast in the Johar Town area of ​​Lahore was an act of Indian terrorism and that the Indian intelligence agency RAW was involved in the incident.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad along with Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry and IG Punjab Inam Ghani, National Security Adviser Moeed Yousaf said that India as a state was involved in the incident, the mastermind behind it being an Indian citizen. One of the accused, Eid Gul, is also from Afghanistan while the third accused, Peter Paul, is a resident of Karachi.

Certain cyber attacks that were carried out on the investigation network of the security team on the day of the blast. A link was established between the two incidents and so the National Security Adviser said that all the accused have been arrested.

Moeed Yousuf went on to say India’s real face will be revealed and that the drone attack in Occupied Kashmir was staged to divert attention from the Lahore blast.

He said that they had names and records of the terrorists, their nexus being linked to India. The Prime Minister directed that this should be brought to light using all available legal and political means, as the people needed the investigation completed. Every effort would be made to show the world India’s true nature, he stated.

He further said that the time has come for the Afghan refugees to return home from Pakistan with dignity. The refugees are peace-loving, but terrorist incidents bring them into disrepute.

Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said that India was directly involved in the terrorism in Lahore, stating that the Indian government is supporting a terrorist network in Pakistan, but all the members inside the country were under control.

It was reported by IG Punjab Police Inam Ghani that 3 civilians were martyred in the Johar Town blast on June 23, while 12 vehicles and 7 houses were damaged.

The IG Punjab said that the entire plan was hatched within 16 hours of the blast and it is likely that some people were sitting outside, planning and financing the whole operation. Peter, 56 and one of the accused, is a resident of Karachi but lived mostly abroad. He did, however, have suspicious contacts.

Inam Ghani said that the vehicle used in the blast was arranged by Peter, it being a stolen vehicle, with the engine and keychain number having being tampered with. The accused had also tested the vehicle by driving it before the blast. According to Peter’s telephone and WhatsApp data, the explosives were planted by him in the car.

They accused said that there were no explosives in the car on the 21st. Eid Gul surveyed the area by car on the 21st, and then by rickshaw on the 22nd. The accused spoke in Punjabi, bringing the car with him all the way from Islamabad. His wife was also said to help him. He spent 12 hours on the motorway, also stopping to rest in one place.

The accused was said to park a black 2010 model car under a house under construction and police were also a target. A number of young people also sustained injury. The blast was the result of 20kg worth of explosives, and right after the incident, the vehicle was shattered to pieces, leaving no trace behind. Usually this does not happen in an explosion indicating that this person was very skilled.
