In response to India’s continued provocations, Pakistan has taken strong retaliatory action on the cyber front and targeted several important Indian infrastructures including key installations and government institutions under “Operation Bunyan-al-e-Marsoos”.

According to sources on Baaghi TV, the following key targets were targeted in the cyber attack. 10 SCADA systems used in the energy sector were rendered inoperable. 1744 web servers were completely destroyed and their data was erased. Windmills and consumer electric portals were shut down. The entire ICT infrastructure of Indian Railways, Delhi Gas Discom, Kashmir Electric Discom was destroyed and data was deleted. 120 routers and 1310 IP cameras were taken over and their configurations were changed.
507 ICT devices and databases were destroyed. 15 mail servers were hacked. 13 government portals were hacked and shut down. Data from 150 databases was stolen and leaked. The website of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Madhya Pradesh was hacked. 110 private sector websites were hacked and their data was affected. The websites of 3 major Indian news channels were also hacked.
Cyber experts say that the attack was highly organized and technically advanced, which has caused severe damage to India’s digital system.
